This Cookie Policy explains the limited browser storage used by StyleFrame AI, operated by [COMPANY NAME]. In short: we do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics. We do keep anonymous first-party counts of which step of the try-on was reached, described in section 2.

1. Essential browser storage

The Service uses your browser’s local and session storage to make the app work. This storage stays on your device and is not used to track you across other websites.

  • Intro splash flag (styleframe-intro-seen) – remembers that the opening animation has played this session.
  • Guide flag (sf_guide_seen_v1) – remembers that you have seen the studio guide so it does not reopen automatically.
  • Consent choice (sf_consent_v2) – remembers that you acknowledged this notice, so it is not shown again.
  • Visit id (sf_visit_v1) – a random id used only to count which step of the try-on was reached during this visit. It is held in tab storage, is cleared when you close the tab, and is not linked to you or to any other visit.
  • Browser profile value (sf_visit_device_v1:<shop>) and visit credential (sf_visit_token_v1:<shop>) – random values kept only for a shop visit and its daily allowance. They are different for each shop, are not linked to your name, phone number, face, or physical device, and are removed when you clear browser data.
  • Shop code (sf_shop_v1) – when you arrive by scanning a shop’s QR code, the code identifying that shop is held in tab storage so the app knows whose catalogue to search. It identifies a shop, not you, and is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Background-removed image (sf_cutout_v1:<image>) – if you turn on background removal, the processed image is kept in tab storage for 15 minutes so that reloading the page does not have to redo it. It never leaves your device, is not linked to you, and is deleted when you close the tab.
  • Theme preference – remembers your light or dark mode choice.

2. Anonymous usage measurement

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics services, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

We do count, on our own systems, how far each visit gets through the try-on – for example that the studio was opened, that a photo was added, or that a result was shown. This tells us which step people stop at so we can fix it. Each count records only the step reached, the time, the random tab-scoped visit id described above, and – if you arrived by scanning a shop’s QR code – which shop that was.

These records contain no images, no name or contact details, no IP address, no device or browser identifier, and no free text. They are deleted automatically after 180 days.

3. Managing storage

You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of the preview and reset the flags above; the app will simply prompt or show them again as needed.
